HUNTING IN TAJIKISTAN
A hunting expedition to Tajikistan (like most hunting in Asia) is a male adventure in the high mountains. Tajikistan in the hunting world has been discovered relatively recently. In addition to typical mountain hunting, such as hunting sheep for marco polo or Siberian ibex, this country offers also other, interesting hunting. The first of them is hunting for huge boars, which tusks are usually medal trophies. The true pearl of Tajik hunting is the expedition to the markura, otherwise known as the goat bolhorse.
ATTRACTIONS
The main attractions of Tajikistan is stunning scenery of the Pamir Mountains and unspoiled nature. For those returning from hunting, we recommend visiting the capital city of the country – Dushanbe. The modern name of city means “Monday” in Tajik language and derives from the fact that on this day, a market was held in Dushanbe, when the city was still a small village.
