HUNTING IN ZIMBABWE

The country has a wide variety of terrain and habitats, from the Zambezi valley in the north to the game-rich Lowveld in the south. Zimbabwe is famous for its huge herds of elephants and one of the largest centers of buffaloes in Africa. The islands and marshes along the Zambezi also offer the possibility of hunting for hippos and crocodiles. The long list of game in Zimbabwe includes such animals as baboon, kudu, bushbuck, bushpig, leopard, caracal, lion, crocodile, duiker, eland, sable, elephant, steenbok, giraffe, warthog, hippopotamus, wildebeest, hyena and anothers.

ATTRACTIONS

For sure the biggest attraction of Zimbabwe are the Victoria Falls, formed on the Zambezi River. The waterfalls were created by the pouring of water from the river into tectonic fissures that form in Africa, tearing the continent in two parts. Being there, it is worth buying a helicopter flight. The bird’s eye view is impressive.
